How to obtain higher indexing precision machining on the rotary table

When indexing on a milling machine, it is often limited by the indexing accuracy of the rotary table. A batch of processing parts that our factory undertakes - the boring tool is such a problem. The diameter of the boring tool is φ430mm, and the number of teeth is z=38. The technical requirement is that the end face of the inner hole is not more than 0.05mm. See Figure 1: To mill the teeth in the milling machine, if the rotary table (model H400) is used, the machining requirements cannot be achieved because the number of teeth cannot be accurately divided. To use the universal indexing head (FW100 type), it is not possible to properly clamp due to its limited range of rotation. According to the existing processing capacity, it is decided to make one for the indexing device of the H400 rotary table.
